Ink Inside
INK INSIDE is a co-op action RPG that started as a pilot script I wrote and pitched to Nickelodeon. Now it's become an "indie RPG gem" according to PC Gamer, one with vibrant characters, unique combat, and a deep lore narrative partially told in FMV sequences. I worked primarily as Creative Director, Marketing Director, Writer, and Producer.
Chevrolet
CHEVROLET is an automobile manufacturer for which I created several national print, video, and social media posts. Working as a Creative Director at Blackfield, I created several of their early social media campaigns including the planning, filming, and editing of multiple commercial productions for a variety of national and local spots that reached both network television and social media.
Prototypes
ITERATIVE DESIGN is something I strongly believe in. So most of the projects I've created at Backfield have developed from small scale vertical slices that are quickly iterated before scaling up for a bigger team to take to the finish line. Each iteration a slice produces becomes a chance to improve, as multiple solutions to major problems can be pursued simultaneously for answers that are optimal, not just functional.
Dillon Rifle Company
DILLON RIFLE COMPANY is a manufacturer of soft goods and 2A products including rifles, training, and parts manufacturing. As their Creative and Marketing Director, I crafted their initial company launch campaign that combined the reveal of their new goods with relevant influencers to create reaction content for social media, and a story for traditional print.
Teeny Titans 2
TEENY TITANS: Go Figure is an action figure collecting & battling RPG based on Cartoon Network IP. I worked as a Producer at Grumpyface Studios on the first DLC where I directed the development of online multiplayer, designed several new features, and worked with Warner Brothers to design new outfits and characters from their IP that would broaden the rogues gallery with fan favorites.
Project Management
As a PROJECT MANAGER overseeing training software for the US military, I’ve found the best path to improving any project is to find where it is failing its audience, then to remake it without that failure. So to that end, I prefer adapting AGILE methodologies to core teams within a project, and to try multiple solutions to a single problem rather than sinking time into unnecessary meetings that can impede velocity.
Unleash the Light
STEVEN UNIVERSE: Unleash the Light is the final game in an RPG trilogy that has an in-cannon narrative based on Cartoon Network IP. I worked as a Marketing Director & Producer at Grumpyface Studios where I directed the production of environmental assets, items, item copy, and re-designed components of the GDD for scope to fit Apple Arcade’s launch timeline.
VirTra
VIRTRA: Is a law enforcement and military training company that creates cutting edge judgmental training simulators. I worked as a Creative Director and Programmer where I wrote, directed, edited, and programmed over 75 different training scenarios based on detailed police and military reports. Well over 50% of VirTra's "scenario" library is something I created.
